Darwin Airport Releases iPhone App

Darwin International Airport this week released its own free App for users to download onto their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, and you'll never guess which local Darwin Web Company developed it for them... That's right it was Captovate!

We've been working hard for the last couple of months to help NT Airports deliver the app which streams live arrival and departure times, features a car parking calculator and connects users to the airport's Twitter stream (@darwinairport) for live news and updates.

Luckily, the app was out just in time for the arrival of Cyclone Carlos, and with over 600 downloads in the first four days the airport was able to let people know in more ways than ever what was going on with flights during the chaotic weather.
