The Darwin Convention Centre is a comprehensive project featuring a website, built in Drupal 7 which includes; an Events database, newsroom, photo gallery with downloaded images and interactive maps built using HTML5. The key brief for this project was to make the Darwin Convention Centre stand out from the crowd, to visually show the beauty of the environment, and sell the facilities. This website is built responsive, meaning the site scales when reduced on a mobile device, maintaining it usability. Additionally, Captovate built an iPad app with the purpose of giving the sales representatives a visually rich platform to showcase the Convention Centre unique features. This is particularly powerful when the reps are able to pinpoint rooms, demonstrate the facilities, locations and layouts through the interactive maps.
