Captovate joined forces with the Department of Correctional Services to design and develop a stylish SharePoint website. Our brief was to differentiate the department with its own individual look and feel and to also provide users with a great web browsing experience.

Something Sleek

Captovate created a stylish visual design for the department's website; delivering on the brief by remaining consistent with NTG branding, whilst setting it apart from the main NTG website graphically. Captovate utilised a vibrant and contrasting colour palette to categorise and distinguish the various site areas, whilst ensuring NTG's web accessibility standards were also met.

Handy Tools

The website features a dynamic homepage slider which is fully integrated with the website's newsroom. This feature allows several messages to be delivered to the user, making great use of the available real estate on the site.

One of the most sought uses for the Correctional Services website is to find and locate the Correctional and Detention centres within the Territory and as such, this tool was made a key feature on the homepage. The 'Find A Centre' functionality includes an interactive map, which allows users to hover over the various pinned locations and effortlessly find out the necessary contact information.

The graphically interactive Quick Find directory is a tool for users to quickly navigate to the information they're searching for and be taken directly to the strategically grouped content.

What's even more awesome is the site is fully responsive, making it ideal to view on mobile and tablets.
