Ethos Global Website Design
Ethos Global Foundation are a not for profit organisation focusing on community development projects in rural Australia and developing nations. Ethos came to Captovate with the requirement for a professional looking website that attracts new members, supports funding applications and showcases their international portfolio of projects.
Our web designer went full throttle with the latest web trends, using flat design, bold imagery, lots of white space and large centred feature text. This vision was carried through the project by our team of web developers who pulled out every trick in the book to complement this vision. The simplistic design was brought to life by subtle movement, colour transitions and hovers states.
The centre piece of functionality on this site is the projects section. The landing page showcases all project with two sets of filters to refine projects by industry and/or year. Each project has a summary, lists the management team, photo gallery and project updates. These project updates are managed by Ethos Global members that can login anywhere in the world and submit an update their project. They can add basic text, pre-formatted images, supporting documents as well as updating the project completion status bar (that spins around and looks really really cool). Ethos Global are now using this functionality as a documentation and reporting process for their projects.
