NT Rego App

Captovate has just released the latest version of the NT Rego app on both iOS and Android. Without sounding big headed, we're fairly confident that it's not only the sexiest rego app in the country, but also the most usable. Here are some of its key functionalities:

Rego Check

The app talks to the live database at MVR and pushes through registration information for NT vehicles. You can check your registration expiry date, set push notification and calender reminders for renews and flick across to the MVR website to renew your rego online.

Search for Authorised Inspectors

You can search for Authorised Inspectors by either typing in your location or using your GPS to search for inspectors nearby. The app displays these inspectors in a map view, but you can also tab across to view in a list. From there, you can either call the inspector or save their contact details into your phone. Recently, we've just added the functionality to filter inspectors by vehicle types they are permitted to service.

Submit Inspections

This functionality allows you to upload an inspection certificate from an Authorised Inspector. The app first searches for your rego plate, then you can either take a photo of your certificate or upload an existing photo and then the app emails this straight through to MVR! Cool huh.

So, what's next?

The release of the NT Rego app has been a huge success with over 10,000 downloads across the territory. We've got a heap of functionality planned for the next release and look forward to working with the Department of Transport on the further development of this exciting app!
